His passion for marketing began in the agency world at DDB Ecuador and extended into multicultural opportunities in NYC. His professional career has been a rewarding journey of connecting iconic brands including Panasonic, Heineken, Johnson & Johnson, Burger King and Verizon with both Hispanic and general market audiences.
Ricardo is driven by the challenge of creating powerful campaigns and communications to breakthrough in a diverse and evolving America. His career has spanned multiple categories including telecommunications, healthcare, retail and QSR.
Ricardo’s partnership with Verizon began as a member of the account team at mcgarybowen New York, leading creative strategy and brand positioning for multiple wireless products and services for over 5 years.
Currently, he is leading and designing effective engagement strategies and platforms for iconic device launches, multicultural segments and localized efforts at Verizon Wireless. With strong interpersonal skills, Ricardo reaches success in activation by fostering collaboration and consistently engaging agency partners to maximize resources and results.
