Vice President, Marketing, Advance Auto Parts

Wendy Blume joined Advance Auto Parts in September 2018 as Vice President, Marketing. In this role, she leads brand management, field marketing, market research and in-house creative and design.

Wendy joined Advance from PepsiCo, where she served as Senior Director, Shopper Marketing and led the development of the Frito-Lay portfolio innovation and marketing planning with the company’s number one customer, as well as the alignment and delivery of multi-category marketing programs. During her time with PepsiCo, Wendy was also the General Manager for the Puerto Rico operation where she led a team of Sales, Marketing, Finance, Logistics, and Manufacturing professionals.

Prior to joining PepsiCo, Wendy worked for Kraft Foods from 2005 – 2011. While at Kraft, Wendy was the Country Manager for the Dominican Republic and the Marketing Director for Puerto Rico. Earlier in her career, Wendy was the Group Marketing Manager for John Deere from 2003 – 2005 and a Brand Manager/Assistant Brand Manager for Procter & Gamble from 1996 – 2003.

Wendy is bilingual (English/Spanish), she earned her bachelor’s degree from Boston University, an MBA from Bentley University, and took a three-year career sabbatical to travel the world.
