As Ocean Spray’s Vice President of Marketing, Chris leads Ocean Spray’s Boston-based Core Beverage, Core Food, Immediate Consumption, Licensing and Partnership, and Emerging Products teams, developing and leading the key marketing strategies that are driving Ocean Spray’s future. Chris brings an incredible passion and expertise to Ocean Spray, all driven by his commitment to connect people with foods and beverages that help them live better, healthier lives.
Chris has more than 20 years of leadership experience in marketing and brand development. Prior to joining Ocean Spray, Chris served as Vice President of Marketing at the global health and wellness company Nature’s Bounty. At Nature’s Bounty, Chris consistently drove transformational sales, achieving more than $100 million in growth over five years in the company’s key health and beauty portfolio. O’Connor was instrumental in the success of other brands including Osteo Bi-Flexâ, Ester-C®, Nature’s Origin®, and Organic Doctor®.
Prior to Nature’s Bounty, Chris held various brand and innovation marketing roles at the Kellogg Company, one of the world’s largest food companies, where he was instrumental in the growth of several brands’ including Eggo®, PopTarts®, and Morningstar Farms®. Chris earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from Boston College, and his Master of Business Administration from Cornell University.
